Yangju City Achieves Excellent Grade in '2024 Public Data Provision Operation Performance Evaluation'
Yangju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kang Su-hyun) announced on the 11th that it has been honored with an "Excellent" rating in the "2024 Public Data Provision Operation Status Evaluation" conducted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.
The "Public Data Provision Operation Status Evaluation" assesses the areas of public data openness, utilization, quality, and management system in accordance with the "Public Data Act," and has been conducted annually since 2018.
This evaluation was conducted on a total of 679 institutions including central administrative agencies, local governments, and public institutions. According to the results, among 226 basic local governments nationwide, 54 (23.9%) were rated "Excellent," 56 (24.8%) "Average," and 116 (51.3%) "Insufficient."

Mayor Kang Su-hyun of Yangju City stated, "Achieving an excellent rating in the 2024 Public Data Provision Operation Status Evaluation is the result of our efforts to communicate with citizens and promote open administration." He added, "We will strive further to increase the utilization rate of public data, provide high-quality data to the private sector, and thereby contribute to revitalizing the local economy and establishing a foundation for industrial innovation."
