Singer Wheesung Passes Away: "No Evidence of Criminal Charges Found"

Singer Wheesung (43, real name Choi Wheesung) was found dead at his home on the 10th.
According to his agency Tazo Entertainment, Wheesung was found in a state of cardiac arrest at his home in Seongdong-gu, Seoul, around 6:29 PM that day and was pronounced dead. The police and fire authorities stated, "No signs of external intrusion or criminal suspicion were confirmed."
The agency said, "In the face of this sudden sad news, the bereaved family, colleagues, and all staff mourn the deceased with heavy hearts," and added, "Please pray for the repose of the deceased so that Wheesung can rest in peace."

Wheesung debuted as a singer in 2002 and released hit songs such as "With Me," "I Even Thought About Marriage," and "Can't Be." He was scheduled to hold a joint concert with singer KCM in Daegu on the 15th.
