Shinan County in Jeollanam-do (Governor Park Wooryang) recently held a meeting of the Child Welfare Institutions Council at the Shinan County Family Center Exchange and Communication Room to promote information sharing and coordination of child welfare services among local child welfare institutions.
According to the county on the 10th, the Child Welfare Institutions Council plays a role in seeking effective joint intervention methods for various delivery systems aimed at changes for children and families, as well as sharing service information among institutions.

View original imageA total of 12 participants attended this meeting, including the head of the Women and Youth Division of Shinan County (Chairperson), representatives from child welfare facilities and related organizations, and public officials in charge.
This meeting further strengthened cooperation among child welfare institutions, and reviewed ways to connect cases and utilize local resources. In particular, through the Dream Start case meeting held within the county, customized support measures were discussed in depth.
Kim Jongmin, team leader, stated, "Through this meeting, we will build a more thorough and robust social safety net, further strengthen the organic relationships among child welfare institutions, and do our best to provide more systematic and effective services to Dream Start children in need."
