The event was attended by Hyundai Transys CEO Baek Cheol-seung, heads of various business divisions, and representatives from 112 major suppliers.
In his welcoming speech, CEO Baek stated, "This year, difficulties are expected to continue due to the increasingly uncertain global business environment. We will closely share two strategies with our suppliers: overcoming crises through risk management and preparing for the future through technological innovation, creating new possibilities together."
This year’s Partners Day was held under the theme "Harmony, a Time for Communication and Cooperation." Hyundai Transys emphasized that by adopting a town hall meeting format, they provided a Q&A session with supplier representatives to deepen the meaning of communication and cooperation. An exhibition booth showcasing new technologies from Hyundai Transys and its suppliers was also set up on site.
Hyundai Transys operates various channels and programs to enhance the quality competitiveness of its suppliers and strengthen mutual cooperation. In addition to Partners Day, communication with suppliers is expanded through industry-specific technical committees and an online grievance system.
Furthermore, to build a sustainable future mobility ecosystem, Hyundai Transys runs a customized co-growth program for suppliers called 'PARTNer.' This program is based on five key action tasks: Progress (support for corporate development), Assistance (support for corporate continuity), Reinforcement (capacity building support), Technology (technical support), and Network (establishment of communication channels).
Additionally, Hyundai Transys provides opportunities for suppliers to develop sales channels and increase revenue through overseas online purchasing consultations, support for participation in overseas exhibitions, and overseas market exploration teams. Training courses in technology, quality, accounting, law, and safety are also supported using external professional educational institutions and internal and external experts.
