Yeongju City Holds Youth Policy Idea Contest... Discovering Region-Specific Youth Policies
Until April 8: Employment, Housing and Welfare, Culture, Participation, and Rights Fields
Six Outstanding Proposals to Be Selected in June... Total Prize Money of 2.9 Million KRW
Yeongju City, Gyeongsangbuk-do (Mayor Park Namseo) will hold the "2025 Youth Policy Idea Proposal Contest" until April 8 to discover regionally tailored youth policies.
This contest is soliciting ideas across all aspects of youth life, including △employment △housing and welfare △culture △participation and rights. Anyone interested in youth policy can participate, and each person can propose up to two policies.
The judging criteria consist of four categories: △originality △feasibility and sustainability △specificity △effectiveness. The Yeongju City Youth Policy Committee, which includes external experts on youth policy, will conduct a first-round document review and a second-round committee evaluation to select the final top six proposals.
The final selected ideas will be awarded with certificates and prize money at a ceremony in June. The grand prize (1 winner) is 1,000,000 KRW, the excellence prize (2 winners) is 500,000 KRW each, and the encouragement prize (3 winners) is 300,000 KRW each, for a total prize pool of 2,900,000 KRW.
Those wishing to participate in the contest should complete the application form and consent to personal information collection, which are attached to the announcement on the Yeongju City website, and submit them via email, registered mail (Yeongju City Hall Job Economy Division, Youth Policy Team), or in person at the Job Economy Division of City Hall.
