National Police Agency Selected as an Outstanding Institution for Public Data and Data-Driven Administration Inspection
The National Police Agency announced on the 9th that it was selected as an excellent institution in the '2024 Public Data Provision and Data-Driven Administration' operation inspection conducted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.
This inspection evaluated a total of 679 institutions, including central administrative agencies, local governments, and public institutions. The National Police Agency was chosen as an excellent institution for six consecutive years in the public data field and for four consecutive years in the data-driven administration field.
In the public data field, it scored 90.95 points, and in the data-driven administration field, it achieved 89 points, both exceeding the average scores of central administrative agencies in both fields.
As of December last year, the National Police Agency has opened a total of 587 public data sets. A representative case is the Jongno District Office developing its own application by utilizing CCTV video information from the National Police Agency’s Urban Traffic Information Center.
