Osan-si Supports Improvement Works for Aging Residential Water Pipes
Up to 90% of Construction Costs Supported Within 1.8 Million KRW Limit
Osan City in Gyeonggi Province will provide support for metropolitan area improvement construction costs to households experiencing inconvenience in water use due to aging water pipes.
The support targets households with aging homes over 20 years old and an area of 130㎡ or less. The support amount limit is differentiated according to the house area within 1.8 million KRW. It covers 90% for areas up to 60㎡, 80% for areas up to 85㎡, and 30% for areas up to 130㎡. However, houses owned by basic livelihood security recipients and lower-income classes are fully supported.
The area criteria are based on exclusive area for apartment complexes and total floor area for detached houses. For multi-family houses, the area is calculated by converting the total floor area relative to the number of households.
Applicants can download the application form and related documents from the Osan City Hall website or visit the Waterworks Division at City Hall to fill out and submit the forms. The responsible official will conduct an on-site investigation to determine eligibility and notify the applicants.
If selected for support, the homeowner can independently select a construction company, complete the construction, and then submit the relevant supporting documents.
