Gyeonggi-do Takes Initiative to Revitalize Youth Culture and Arts in Population Decline Risk Areas
Gyeonggi Province is publicly recruiting subsidy recipients for the "Youth Culture and Arts Support Project" until the 19th of this month to support the creative activities of young artists in six cities and counties at risk of population extinction and to promote local cultural revitalization.
Gyeonggi Province will select about 20 teams of young artists by linking local cultural resources and existing cultural projects, then provide support for costs necessary for creative activities such as expert coaching and mentoring, rehearsal room rental fees, production costs, and promotional expenses. In addition, networking and collaboration opportunities among participants will be provided, and a comprehensive performance report meeting will be held after the project ends.
The recruitment targets are corporations, organizations, and social enterprises with their main office in Gyeonggi Province that have cultural and artistic project performance records within the last three years.
Through this project, Gyeonggi Province plans to contribute to the revitalization of local culture and arts by supporting young artists to carry out creative activities based in the region.
