Yeongam County, South Jeolla Province (Governor Woo Seunghee) held a special lecture on "Practical Use of Generative AI for Work" on the 4th, attended by about 200 public officials.
According to the county on the 5th, this special lecture was organized to foster creative and innovative work in the rapidly changing administrative environment. The lecture introduced a variety of practical applications that public officials can immediately use, including generative AI for ▲ video production ▲ image and audio generation ▲ document automation, and more.

View original imageIn particular, attendees were intrigued by demonstrations such as requesting a document-generating AI to "write a press release based on 000," with results produced in less than five seconds.
Public officials expect that this will significantly reduce the time required to draft press releases related to their work in the future. Various other cases of administrative innovation using AI technology were also shared.
Starting with this special lecture, the county plans to conduct hands-on generative AI training every Wednesday beginning in March. In the second half of the year, a "Policy Innovation AI Challenge" (tentative name) will be launched to strengthen public officials' digital capabilities and support the provision of efficient and creative administrative services.
Lee Youngjoo, Director of Public Relations Strategy, said, "By integrating generative AI technology into everyday work, we will achieve innovation in the public sector and provide more convenient administrative services to the residents of Yeongam County."
