In December of the same year, the city secured 500 million KRW in project funds prioritized for 2025, and plans to secure additional budget depending on the number of users of the project funds.
Through a business agreement with the local NongHyup, the city completed the linkage work between the system it built and NongHyup’s own program over two months from January to February this year, and will intensively issue cards to 33,000 elderly residents aged 65 and older for one month from the 4th to the 31st.
In particular, to prevent congestion among the elderly, the city decided to set application periods by birth year in consultation with NongHyup for card issuance.
Elderly residents who receive transportation cards will be able to use them officially starting in April.
The supported routes include 70 buses passing through Guri City, covering city buses, village buses, and intercity buses, and the amount used will be paid quarterly to NongHyup accounts.
