Gyeonggi Province is recruiting companies to participate in the ‘Gyeonggi Province Water Technology Demonstration Support Project’ until the 31st to strengthen the technological competitiveness of the domestic water industry and promote the commercialization of excellent water companies.
This project supports the demonstration of excellent water technologies developed by water-related companies in the province. A distinctive feature is that it also supports overseas demonstration in Soc Trang Province, Vietnam, as well as domestic demonstration.
The eligible applicants are companies with headquarters or factories located in the province. The support areas include domestic water supply, sewage, and wastewater treatment methods, materials, parts, and equipment, and overseas water quality monitoring of rivers in Soc Trang Province, Vietnam.
The support funds cover demonstration costs and performance measurement and analysis fees, with up to 150 million KRW for domestic projects and up to 100 million KRW for overseas projects.
Since this is the first overseas demonstration project, Gyeonggi Province signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Soc Trang Province, Vietnam, to ensure smooth project implementation. Accordingly, selected companies will demonstrate water quality data monitoring technology in waterways near the water purification plant in Soc Trang Province, Vietnam.
