Seocho-gu Launches Postpartum Exercise Program 'Yuktoe Exercise Club' Starting This Month
For Women in Seocho-gu 2 to 24 Months Postpartum
The ‘Yuktoe Exercise Club,’ which allows mothers to have their own exercise time, take care of their health, and relieve parenting stress after being freed from childcare, will be operated in Seocho-gu, Seoul starting this month.
Seocho-gu (Mayor Jeon Seong-su) announced on the 2nd that it has established the Yuktoe Exercise Club, a postpartum exercise program for women 2 to 24 months after childbirth.
This program is divided into two parts: ‘Step Box Exercise’ for women 2 to 24 months postpartum and ‘Circuit Training’ for women 10 to 24 months postpartum. Any eligible resident of Seocho-gu can participate in the exercises. The training lasts a total of 8 weeks, 30 minutes each session, and is offered free of charge at the Seocho Health Center. Postpartum women in Seocho-gu who wish to participate can register on a first-come, first-served basis through the Health Parent e-Eum website.
The Seocho Health Center also offers various exercise programs for pregnant women and infants, including prenatal Pilates, postpartum equipment Pilates, Mind-Body Healing Mom, equipment Pilates self-exercise, and kids sports.
