Gokseong County: Enjoy Various Benefits with the Munhwa Nuri Card
Expanding Access to Cultural and Sports Activities for Vulnerable Groups
Gokseong County, South Jeolla Province (Governor Cho Sangrae), announced on the 1st that it will implement the "2025 Munhwa Nuri Card Support Project" to expand opportunities for basic livelihood security recipients and low-income households to enjoy culture and the arts through the Munhwa Nuri Card. The project also aims to improve the quality of life and welfare of residents by encouraging participation in cultural and sports activities.
The eligible recipients are basic livelihood security recipients and low-income households born before December 31, 2019. Upon issuance of the card, an annual support fund of 140,000 KRW is provided, which can be used at registered merchants such as cultural facilities, sports facilities, performances, exhibitions, and travel destinations.
The application period runs until November 28. Applicants can apply online or by visiting their local town or township office. Online applications can be made via the official Munhwa Nuri Card website or app, while in-person applications are available at town or township offices.
Gokseong County is also continuously recruiting merchants who wish to participate in the project and plans to support more residents in participating in a variety of cultural, artistic, and sports activities through the Munhwa Nuri Card.
