The crackdown included 68 violations of the Automobile Management Act (such as joint dangerous acts, reckless driving, unlicensed driving, illegal modifications, and obscuring license plates), 51 cases of drunk driving, and 612 other violations, totaling 744 cases.

A police official stated, “For serious violations such as joint dangerous acts, criminal punishment will be pursued after analyzing evidence materials,” and added, “We will continue strict enforcement against reckless and dangerous driving on holidays and weekends by utilizing personnel and equipment from traffic, criminal investigation, and riot police units.”
