of Public Work and Community Job Projects
On the 27th, Yangsan City in Gyeongnam conducted safety training for over 330 participants of the public work and community job projects for the first half of 2025 at the Yangsan Business Center Convention Hall.

View original imageThis training was led by Won Mi-ae, an instructor from the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency, who shared accident cases that occurred at workplaces to emphasize the importance of adhering to safety rules and raise awareness about safety accidents. She also explained the procedures for handling industrial accidents to help create a safer working environment for public job project participants.
Additionally, with the cooperation of the Yangsan Fire Station, emergency first aid training including cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) was conducted to enable participants to respond promptly in emergency situations.
Mayor Na Dong-yeon said, “Please be careful to prevent safety accidents from occurring at the work sites during the project period,” and added, “I hope this training will help prevent safety accidents.”

Yangsan City is implementing a public job project for a total of 330 people, including 305 public workers and 25 community job project participants, from February 24 to June 13, 2025. The city has significantly increased job opportunities for low-income groups by additionally hiring young people and elderly individuals aged 65 to 69.
