Changwon Special City Holds Changwon City Sports Council Regular General Meeting to Discuss Development Directions
On the 27th, Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam held the '2025 Changwon City Sports Council Annual General Meeting' at Changwon Hill Sky Convention, hosted by the Changwon City Sports Council.
On this day, more than 40 delegates (heads of each sports organization who are full members of the Sports Council), including Hong Nam-pyo, Mayor of Changwon Special City, attended. Notably, newly elected presidents of member sports organizations participated, sharing the achievements of the Sports Council and discussing future development directions in a meaningful session.
The meeting covered agenda items such as ▲ review of the 2024 business results and settlement plan ▲ report on the 2025 business plan and budget ▲ report on the election status of member sports organization presidents. In-depth discussions were held for the continuous development of Changwon sports, and active exchanges of opinions among attendees followed.
Park Seong-ho, President of the Changwon City Sports Council, stated, “We will do our best to help revitalize the sports organizations in 2025 as well.”
Mayor Hong Nam-pyo said, “The city will spare no administrative and financial support for the development of the Sports Council, and we ask for continuous interest and participation so that Changwon sports can grow further.”

The Changwon City Sports Council comprises 65 member sports organizations and is entrusted by Changwon City to promote projects such as elite sports activation through participation in the National Sports Festival and Provincial Sports Festival, hosting various recreational sports competitions, and operating recreational sports programs.
