Mokpo National University Selected as 'Digital Specialized University for Small Business Owners' for Four Consecutive Years
Opening of Online Advancement Training Courses, Over 600 Graduates Produced
National Mokpo University (President Song Hacheol) announced on the 26th that it has been finally selected as the operating institution for the "2025 Digital Specialization University Program for Small Business Owners," organized by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Small Enterprise and Market Service, as of the 25th.
Since 2022, National Mokpo University has been running this program and the DT Center operation project, opening online advancement training courses for small business owners and prospective entrepreneurs in the Gwangju and Jeonnam regions, producing a total of over 600 graduates. The university has also been selected as an excellent university for three consecutive years in the nationwide performance evaluation of operating universities.
In particular, by applying for a new project again this year and passing the presentation evaluation on the 17th of last month, the university has been selected as an operating institution for the fourth consecutive year. This project will also support small business owners' online advancement through popup education at Jeonnam Provincial College.
Professor Lee Seokin from the Department of Business Administration said, "This year as well, we will actively support the enhancement of digital capabilities and online market expansion for small business owners, who are the main drivers of revitalizing the local economy."
