Kwon Young-se, Emergency Response Committee Chairman of the People Power Party, emphasized on the 26th, "In order to respond to the reckless attitude of the Democratic Party of Korea, we must first unite tightly as one."
Chairman Kwon said in his greeting at the Chungcheong and Honam regional and local council members' training held at the Talent Education Training Center in Cheonan, Chungnam, in the afternoon, "There is a force literally running rampant that uses legislative power to escape the judicial risks of Lee Jae-myung by reigning above the law and suppressing South Korea's liberal democracy."
Referring to the intensified political attacks from the opposition party amid the impeachment of President Yoon Suk-yeol and Prime Minister Han Duck-soo, Chairman Kwon stressed, "We must present our policies and vision clearly to the people in a united manner and gain solid trust from the public by implementing them one by one."
He added, "The central party is also making an all-out effort to restore people’s livelihoods and stimulate domestic demand," and "We will listen more carefully to the needs of each region and provide more meticulous support to ensure thorough assistance."
On the same day, Chairman Kwon showed an active schedule by visiting the collapsed bridge site on the Seoul-Sejong Expressway in Seoun-myeon, Anseong-si, Gyeonggi Province, and the Onyang Oncheon Traditional Market in Asan-si, Chungnam.
