The Kwangwoon University Ice Hockey Team won the championship in the university division at the 106th National Winter Sports Festival, achieving a record of six consecutive victories.

Kwangwoon University, representing Seoul, showcased strong performance in the university division held at the Gangneung Hockey Center from the 20th to the 21st. In the semifinals, Kwangwoon defeated Korea University, representing Sejong City, 5-2, and then secured the gold medal with a 7-0 victory over Kyung Hee University, representing Gyeonggi Province, in the finals.
Notably, this victory marks their sixth consecutive championship since 2019 (the 2021 tournament was not held due to COVID-19).
