This event, organized by the Gwangju Talent Lifelong Education Promotion Agency, was part of the Gwangju City integrated recruitment training running until the 28th. The program included an introduction to Gwangju Transportation Corporation, hands-on experience in control operations, Line 2 promotion, and a Q&A session with actual controllers.
In particular, the tour received a great response for simulating various situations that are difficult to experience in daily life, such as measures and support in the event of unusual circumstances like train delays or mechanical failures during urban railway operations.
An official from the corporation said, “We hope this training and exchange for new employees will help deepen understanding of other institutions,” and added, “We will continue to do our best to enhance employees’ practical skills through active cooperation with related organizations.”
