Kia Sponsors Title of League of Legends 'Arabian League'
Operation of Offline Spaces for Kia Brand Experience
Kia is expanding its global eSports marketing through a new partnership with the eSports game 'League of Legends.'
On the 25th, Kia announced that it has signed a title sponsorship for the 'Arabian League,' the Middle East and North Africa region league of League of Legends, and will continue its collaboration with the game developer Riot Games.
The Arabian League was established in 2019 when the League of Legends European regional pro league expanded its participating regions to include the Middle East and Africa. Teams from 15 countries in the MENA region can participate, and the top-performing teams earn the opportunity to compete in the inter-league tournament, the League of Legends 'Europe, Middle East, and Africa Masters.'
Through this title sponsorship agreement, Kia plans to carry out various marketing activities. Beyond basic collaborations such as brand logo exposure on game broadcast screens, Kia will also operate offline spaces where eSports fans can experience the Kia brand while watching key matches like the playoffs together.
