View original imageOn the 25th, Kakao announced that it has signed a license agreement for the use of Kakao Friends characters with 'L7 West Lake Hanoi by Lotte,' following 'Andaz Bali.' Through collaboration with global hotel brands, Kakao Friends is expanding the scope of its character IP (intellectual property) licensing.
Last month, Kakao Friends collaborated with Hyatt's luxury hotel brand Andaz to launch a special package called 'Kakao Friends in Bali' at Andaz Bali. The Garden Pool Villa rooms are decorated with Kakao Friends character products and specially made amenities to provide a unique experience.
The package includes ▲ breakfast and happy hour ▲ kids club access ▲ food and beverage credits worth $50 per day, and the resort's restaurants offer special menus such as the 'Spicy Ryan Burger' and 'Kakao Friends Afternoon Tea.' This package is available until December 31.

At 'L7 West Lake Hanoi' located in Hanoi, Vietnam, guests can enjoy a room package that includes Kakao Friends amenities and macarons. Guests using this package can also access various hotel facilities such as the infinity pool, sauna, outdoor garden, and kids room.
Going forward, Kakao Friends plans to actively expand its licensing business with global hotel brands to increase touchpoints with customers both domestically and internationally.
