Namwon City Recruiting 'Digital Tourism Resident Card' Partner Stores Until July 7
Discount Benefits at 30 Affiliated Stores Including Accommodations
Namywon City in North Jeolla Province is accepting additional applications for affiliated stores for the 2025 Digital Tourism Resident Card until July 7.
According to the city on the 25th, the Digital Tourism Resident Card is a project promoted by the Korea Tourism Organization to revitalize tourism in areas experiencing population decline, and Namwon was selected for the project in 2023.
Tourists who do not have an address in Namwon can issue and use the card through the "Korea Travel Guide" website. As of February this year, the number of issued cards stands at 134,802, which is 173% of Namwon's resident population of 75,604.
Tourists who have received the Digital Tourism Resident Card can receive discounts at a total of 30 affiliated stores in the area, including experience centers and accommodations.
This recruitment for affiliated stores targets businesses operating food and beverage venues, experience facilities, and accommodations within the city. Affiliated stores will receive promotional support both on the "Korea Travel Guide" website operated by the Korea Tourism Organization and through Namwon City's own online and offline channels.
Businesses wishing to participate can refer to the notices on the city hall website or contact the Tourism Marketing Team at the Tourism Department for more information.
