Likely to Perform "Born Again" with Doja Cat and Raye
BLACKPINK's Lisa will be the first K-pop singer to perform on the congratulatory stage at the Academy Awards. According to the list of performers for the 97th Academy Awards announced on the official website of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) on the 24th (local time), she was named alongside American rapper Doja Cat and British singer-songwriter Raye.
Earlier this month, Lisa released a new song titled "Born Again" in collaboration with Doja Cat and Raye. The three are expected to debut the live performance of the new song at the awards ceremony.

This is the first time a K-pop singer will sing on the Academy Awards stage. In addition to Lisa, the ceremony on the 2nd of next month will feature performances by Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo, who starred in the musical film "Wicked," as well as rapper Queen Latifah.
