"SRT Provides Water for Cup Noodles? ... Don't Rely on AI, Always Check Official Channels"
SR: 17 Out of 20 AI Answers About SRT Were Incorrect
Operator Urges Users to Check Official Sources for Accurate Information
SR, the operator of the Suseo High-Speed Railway (SRT), announced on the 25th that many answers provided by artificial intelligence (AI) conversational tools regarding SRT-related information were found to be inaccurate or completely false. They urged users to verify information through official channels.
Based on customer inquiries (VOC), SR input 20 frequently asked questions into domestic and international AI tools and analyzed the responses. As a result, incorrect answers were found in 17 cases.
For example, there were many false pieces of information such as ▲passengers can request hot water from train staff to eat cup noodles on SRT trains ▲first-class passengers can board the train first. Information related to ticket cancellation penalties was also often presented inaccurately.
The incorrect answers included important matters such as penalty and refund information, route operation information, and train usage information. SR analyzed that AI refers not only to official materials but also to unofficial sources like personal blogs and cafes. They also pointed out the problem of AI generating information that does not exist, known as "hallucination."
SR emphasized that inaccurate information from AI-based tools can cause inconvenience when actually using the train, and that SRT-related information must be verified through official channels.
Accurate information about SRT can be confirmed through ▲the FAQ section on the SRT website ▲the SRT chatbot ▲and SR customer center phone consultations.
SR continuously updates the latest information to provide accurate information to customers. They plan to continue offering highly reliable services.
