Homeplus Labor and Management Reach Tentative Wage Agreement... Average 1.2% Increase
Introduction of On-site Experience Allowance
Wage Increase to Be Applied from March Upon Final Agreement
Homeplus announced on the 25th that it has reached a tentative agreement on the 2025 wage agreement with the negotiating unions, the Mart Industry Labor Union and the Homeplus General Labor Union.
The tentative labor-management agreement includes an average wage increase of 1.2% and the establishment of an on-site experience allowance. After a referendum among all union members, the final agreement will be reached, and the wage increase will be applied starting from the March payroll. Retroactive payments for January and February of this year will also be made together.
The newly established on-site experience allowance will apply a basic 2,500 KRW for less than one year of service, with an additional 2,500 KRW added each subsequent year. For 25 years or more, it will be paid as a fixed amount.
