Daejeon Transportation Corporation Rated 'Excellent' for Public Data Provision by Ministry of the Interior and Safety for Three Consecutive Years
Selected as the Top Institution in Data Quality Certification Review for Administrative and Public Institutions
Daejeon Transportation Corporation announced that it has been selected as an excellent institution for three consecutive years in both the "2024 Public Data Provision Evaluation" and the "Data-Based Administration Evaluation" by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.
The Public Data Provision Evaluation assesses the level of data management in public institutions, including information disclosure and utilization, quality, and management systems.
In November last year, Daejeon Transportation Corporation achieved a perfect score of 100 in the data quality certification review for administrative and public institutions, earning the top institution designation.
The corporation also achieved remarkable results in the field of public data innovation. Last year, through collaboration with the Ministry of the Interior and Safety Integrated Data Analysis Center and Hannam University, it accomplished practical data-driven innovations such as analysis for Tashu bicycle redistribution and improvements to depots for vehicles supporting the mobility of transportation-vulnerable individuals.
President Yeon Gyuyang stated, "Data-centered administrative innovation ultimately serves as the foundation for providing better transportation services to citizens," adding, "We will continue to proactively open high-quality, reliable data and further strengthen data-based administration to contribute to the activation of the local public data ecosystem."
