Naju City Expands NajuAe Learning Voucher to 5,000 Recipients

View original imageNaju City in Jeollanam-do announced on the 20th that it will expand the number of recipients for the Naju-ae Baeum Voucher, the first of its kind among local governments in the province under the 8th popularly elected administration, from 3,000 last year to 5,000 this year.
The Naju-ae Baeum Voucher is a youth package policy discovered under the 8th popularly elected administration, launched in 2023, to provide citizens with broad learning opportunities for cultural and leisure enjoyment and self-development.
The learning voucher is available to any citizen aged 19 or older (based on residency prior to the announcement date). Selected citizens receive an annual lifelong learning subsidy of 150,000 KRW through a voucher-exclusive card.
The city will hold an information session on the operation of the 2025 Naju-ae Baeum Voucher at 2 p.m. on March 4 in the main conference room of city hall.
Applications to participate in the information session can be made through the Naju City Lifelong Learning Information Center website until 6 p.m. on March 3.
Yoon Byungtae, Mayor of Naju, said, "I hope that all citizens, including youth, middle-aged, and seniors, will experience the joy of self-development and learning through the voucher."
