Geochang-gun Opens Applications for Brokerage Fee Support Project for Housing-Vulnerable Groups
Up to 300,000 KRW Support for Brokerage Fees on Rental Housing
On the 20th, Geochang-gun, Gyeongnam Province announced the start of accepting applications for a brokerage fee support project for rental contracts of houses priced under 100 million KRW, targeting vulnerable housing groups.
This project is a new initiative supported by Gyeongsangnam-do, designed to alleviate the economic burden of vulnerable housing groups and help stabilize their housing situation.
The support target is basic livelihood security recipients under the 「National Basic Livelihood Security Act」, who have signed a rental contract for a house priced under 100 million KRW within the province through a real estate brokerage office. The support applies to contracts signed on or after August 1, 2024, and can be received only once within two years from the contract date.
Required documents for application include ▲support application form ▲certificate of basic livelihood security recipient ▲resident registration copy ▲rental contract ▲brokerage fee receipt ▲bankbook copy ▲consent form for personal information provision. Applicants should bring these documents and visit the Land Information department of the Civil Complaints Communication Division at Geochang-gun Office.
