Steps Down After 11 Months
Lee Bong-ju, CEO of Woongjin ThinkBig, resigned earlier this month.
On the 19th, Woongjin ThinkBig stated, "CEO Lee expressed his intention to resign due to personal reasons," and added, "The successor appointment is in progress and will be announced once finalized."
CEO Lee was appointed as the CEO of Woongjin ThinkBig at the regular shareholders' meeting last March but stepped down before completing even one year in office. His original term was until March 2027.
CEO Lee is a human resources and organizational management expert who worked in HR-related roles at Samsung Electronics for 35 years, from 1988 to 2023.
