NongHyup Financial Group Holds Compliance Monitoring Council Meeting... "Promoting Strengthened Internal Controls"
NongHyup Financial Group announced on the 19th that it held the '2025 1st NongHyup Financial Compliance Monitoring Council' at its headquarters meeting room in Jung-gu, Seoul, with 11 participants including compliance officers from the holding company and its affiliates.
At the meeting, discussions were held on enhancing the effectiveness of internal controls through strengthened supervision, reviewing the accountability structure in response to amendments to the Governance Act, and strengthening monitoring of vulnerable areas to prevent incidents and reinforce responsible management.
Yoon Ki-tae, Compliance Officer of NongHyup Financial Group, who presided over the meeting, emphasized, "There should be no leniency regarding responsibility for financial accidents, and all affiliates must thoroughly enhance employees' ethical awareness and strengthen inspection and supervision of vulnerable areas to establish a sound management culture."
