Gwangyang Free Economic Zone Authority Holds Joint Briefing on Support Policies for Resident Companies
16 Organizations Participate to Share Customized Policies and Systems
Gwangyang Bay Area Free Economic Zone Authority (Commissioner Koo Chungkon, hereinafter referred to as Gwangyang FEZ Authority) announced on the 19th that it held the '2025 Resident Company Support Policy Joint Briefing Session' at the Jeonnam Technopark Grand Auditorium on the 18th.
The event was attended by more than 70 people, including business representatives and officials from organizations located in the Gwangyang Bay Area, making it a great success.

View original imageThe briefing session was joined by a total of 16 organizations, including Gwangyang FEZ Authority, Jeonnam Technopark, Yeosu Branch of the Ministry of Employment and Labor, Jeonnam Eastern Office of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, and Korea Institute of Energy Technology Evaluation and Planning, among others, to share various support policies and systems for resident companies.
In particular, eight organizations including Jeonnam Technopark and the Yeosu Branch of the Ministry of Employment and Labor presented detailed support policies specific to each institution, drawing significant interest from attendees. The topics covered included policy funding systems, employment and manpower support, product market and export support, technology development (R&D), intellectual property, and support measures for startups and ventures.
Commissioner Koo Chungkon stated, "We will continue to discover customized support policies that companies can truly feel, and strengthen communication with businesses to do our best in supporting resident companies in the Gwangyang Bay Area."
Meanwhile, the Gwangyang FEZ Authority is providing multifaceted support to help resident companies in the Gwangyang Bay Area industrial complexes secure regional competitiveness through various support programs such as company status surveys, resident company meetings, the Company Love Advisory Group, and on-site health care services to address the difficulties and challenges faced by these companies.
