National Science Museum Operates Adult Nature Experience Program
Nature Exploration Education Covering Nine Themes Including Birds, Wildflowers, Caves, and Wetlands
The National Science Museum announced on the 19th that it will operate the '2025 Adult Nature Exploration' program 12 times a year starting in March, allowing general adults to explore the rules and principles of natural phenomena through curiosity and observation of nature.
The 2025 Adult Nature Exploration program will begin with bird exploration in March and conduct a total of 10 nature experience activities with experts in various fields, including wildflowers, mudflats, insects, fish, and caves. In July and September, one additional experience activity each will be held to explore urban natural ecosystems, unique ecosystems formed by interactions between artificial environments created by humans and various living organisms inhabiting them.
Kwon Seok-min, director of the National Science Museum, said, "Through the adult nature experience program, we hope it will be an opportunity to cultivate knowledge about nature and experience the importance of nature conservation through broad understanding and empathy for the changing nature and ecosystems due to the climate crisis."
