The Building Management Team is responsible for tasks such as creating and recording building registers, modifying entries, making changes, cancellations, and managing illegal buildings.
The establishment of this new team within the One-Stop Permit Division aims to resolve the inconvenience caused by the separation of the permit department and the building register department, which previously required civil petitioners to visit multiple departments.
With the creation of the team in the One-Stop Permit Division, the city expects to provide building administrative services that citizens can truly feel, as all related civil petitions from building permits to building registers can now be handled within a single department.
The Seosan City One-Stop Permit Division will lead the way in providing citizen satisfaction one-stop building civil service with five teams, including the newly established Building Management Team.
The five teams are the Building Permit Team, Building Notification Team, Building Management Team, Development Activity Team, and Land Environment Team.
The Building Permit Team and Building Notification Team handle building permits and notifications, the Development Activity Team is responsible for development activity permits, and the Land Environment Team manages permits related to farmland, forest land, environment, and sewage.
Mayor Lee Wanseop said, "We will consider and implement various measures to provide one-stop civil service for citizens' convenience," adding, "We will do our best to enhance citizen convenience by providing accurate and prompt services."
Meanwhile, the city was recognized for significantly improving citizen convenience by providing a citizen satisfaction one-stop civil service, as it was selected as an excellent institution in the 2024 Comprehensive Evaluation of Building Administration hosted by South Chungcheong Province last year.
