Naver and Ministry of Employment Sign Agreement to Support Mid-Career Reemployment in IT Industry
Development of Education Programs for Reemployment and Entrepreneurship Support
Naver and the Ministry of Employment and Labor will collaborate to support the reemployment of middle-aged and senior IT personnel, aiming to establish a virtuous social cycle.
On the 18th, Naver and the Ministry of Employment and Labor signed an agreement at Naver Green Factory in Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do, to operate a customized reemployment support program for the IT industry. The signing ceremony was attended by key officials, including Gong, the head of Naver Education Center, and Kim Min-seok, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Employment and Labor.
According to the agreement, Naver will develop a reemployment support program to enable skilled IT professionals to continue demonstrating their capabilities even after retirement. Naver plans to design goal-oriented educational courses using its own online and offline education platforms.
Center Head Gong stated, “Naver has provided educational programs in various fields such as scale-up support for small and medium enterprises and creators, and AI education for future generations, fostering co-growth with users across multiple generations. Through this agreement, we will prepare support measures specialized for the internet platform industry and strive to create a stable employment culture in the industry.”

Through today’s agreement, we will offer effective reemployment support to IT industry workers and expand this to other industries as well.”
