Gwangju Buk-gu Launches Aimam Transportation Subsidy Program
Gwangju Buk-gu is implementing the 'I-Mom Transportation Fee Support Project,' which provides taxi fare assistance when infants and toddlers need to visit hospitals.
According to Buk-gu on the 18th, this project is being launched for the first time this year with a budget of 100 million won from the Hometown Love Fund. Families with children aged 24 months or younger will receive up to 50,000 won in call taxi fare support when visiting hospitals with their children.
The eligible recipients are families raising children aged 24 months or younger, where at least one guardian has been a resident of Buk-gu for more than six months. The guardian must reside in the same household as the child.
Applications can be submitted online through Government24 starting next month. After eligibility is verified, selected recipients will receive a voucher worth 50,000 won through their local administrative welfare center.
Mayor Moon In said, "We will continue to discover and implement support projects that help families raising children, and mobilize all administrative resources to make Buk-gu a great place to have and raise children."
