KLPGA Appoints Kim Sang-yeol, Chairman of Hoban Group, as 15th President
Appointed as President for the Second Time After Serving as the 13th President
Scheduled to Take Office at the Regular General Meeting on March 20
Kim Sang-yeol, Chairman of Hoban Group, has been appointed as the 15th President of the Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA).
On the 17th, KLPGA held the first board meeting of 2025 at the KLPGA building office in Gangdong-gu, Seoul, and decided to appoint Kim Sang-yeol, who served as the 13th President, as the 15th President. Kim Sang-yeol, who served as the 13th President of KLPGA from 2017 to 2021, is currently the Chairman of the Hoban Scholarship Foundation and the Chairman of the Seoul Shinmun.

Chairman Kim Sang-yeol is scheduled to officially take office as the 15th President at the KLPGA regular general meeting on March 20. The term is four years. The 14th President of KLPGA has been Kim Jung-tae, former Chairman of Hana Financial Group, since 2021.
