This was Indonesia’s first sustainability-linked bond issuance, with a total issuance size of 1 trillion rupiah (approximately 89 billion KRW). Notably, it attracted attention by receiving a full payment guarantee from CGIF, an institution under the Asian Development Bank (ADB), and obtaining a AAA rating from Pepindor, Indonesia’s leading credit rating agency.
Nam Kyung-hoon, head of KISI, said, "This award proves that Korea Investment & Securities is playing a leading role in the Indonesian bond market," adding, "We will continue to strengthen our position in the Indonesian financial market through balanced growth in both retail and investment banking (IB) sectors."
