Marketing Led by Newly Established 'Integrated Channel Business Division' Last Year

GS Shop announced on the 13th that it will hold 'GS Style,' the largest fashion event of the first half of the year, from the 15th to the 23rd.
GS Style is a marketing campaign planned by the newly established 'Integrated Channel Business Division' at the end of last year. Since the fashion sector is a product category that attracts concentrated interest and demand from GS Shop's core customer base of women aged 45 to 54, the strategy is to secure loyal customers through a dedicated fashion event. GS Shop plans to develop GS Style into the industry's representative fashion event starting this year.
During the event period, GS Shop will open a special 'GS Style' store within its mobile application (app), carefully selecting and showcasing 100,000 products from 100 top brands.
Additionally, one 'Brand of the Day' will be selected daily and intensively introduced through home shopping broadcasts and live commerce. Nine representative GS Shop brands were chosen, including ▲Core Authentic and designer brands ▲SJ Wani ▲Jason Wu ▲Skechers ▲FILA, which gained popularity last year with the minimalism trend.
Through new products from these brands, GS Shop proposes three leading trends for this spring and summer season: 'Retro Mood' (a modern reinterpretation of vintage styles), 'Modern Classic,' and 'Active Lifestyle' (outdoor wear combined with comfort). To this end, three of GS Shop's top stylists?Kim Sung-il, Han Hye-yeon, and Koo Dong-hyun?participated as GS Style directors from the marketing planning stage. The directors will also appear on live home shopping broadcasts to share fashion trends along with their recommended items and styling tips.
GS Shop plans to target customers using various channels such as TV live broadcasts, mobile, and short-form content. Customers can preview featured products through social networking services (SNS) and short-form content, and use GS Style through various channels tailored to their shopping styles, including a dedicated store within the mobile app, live commerce, and home shopping broadcasts.
Customers who purchase event products during the 9-day GS Style period using GS Pay will receive a 7?10% discount benefit.
Park Woo-hyun, head of the Integrated Channel Business Division at GS Retail Home Shopping BU, explained, “GS Shop has elevated fashion to a core home shopping product category through innovations and attempts that change the existing paradigm, such as being the first in the industry to hold domestic and international fashion shows and collaborating with top designers. GS Style will be the best stage to experience GS Shop’s unique fashion competitiveness in a multidimensional way.”
