74 Senior Education Administrators in Busan Declare Support for Kim Seok-jun, Busan Education Superintendent Preliminary Candidate
"Restoring Order to Education Requires a Proven Superintendent"
In the Busan Superintendent of Education by-election, over 70 education administration experts officially declared their support for candidate Kim Seok-jun on the 12th.
At the support declaration held at Kim Seok-jun's Busan Superintendent of Education election office, 74 participants including former Busan Metropolitan Office of Education Administrative Director Choi Ki-geon, former education office and support office directors, agency heads, and administrative managers took part.
These former education administration officials stated, "Kim Seok-jun is the only practical candidate capable of normalizing Busan education in crisis."
They pointed out, "Over the past two years and six months, Busan education has fallen into confusion due to lack of communication and unilateral administration, and the superintendent vacancy caused by election fraud is an unprecedented crisis," adding, "As students, parents, and teachers are facing great difficulties due to rapid changes in education policy and the gap with the field, verified leadership capable of immediately performing the superintendent's duties is urgently needed," in their declaration.
In the declaration, they highly praised Kim Seok-jun for his eight years as Busan Superintendent of Education, during which he achieved practical results such as realizing clean and fair education administration, resolving educational disparities, establishing a foundation for future education, and strengthening public education.
