YouTuber Gamst with 2.81 Million Subscribers Appointed as Jangseong-gun PR Ambassador
YouTuber Gamst, who has 2.81 million subscribers, will serve as a promotional ambassador for Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do.
On the 11th, Jangseong-gun announced that YouTuber Gamst has been appointed as the promotional ambassador for the "2025 Visit Jangseong Year."
Gamst, who is originally from Jangseong, has gained attention since 2013 by creating content such as sports games and mukbang, and has appeared on various TV shows.
This year's "Visit Jangseong Year" is a tourism project planned ahead of the 64th Jeonnam Sports Festival and the 33rd Jeonnam Para Sports Festival, both to be held in Jangseong for the first time. Throughout the year, a variety of experiential content will be offered, including customized tourist taxis, a stamp tour, and busking performances for visitors.
Additionally, the months of April, May, and October?when the two major sports festivals, the Gildongmu Flower Road Festival, and the Hwangryonggang Autumn Flower Festival take place?have been designated as "Visit Jangseong Months," during which events such as a "receipt event" will be held to revitalize the local economy.
Kim Hanjong, the county governor, stated, "It is meaningful that Gamst, a YouTuber from Jangseong who is widely loved by the public, will participate as a promotional ambassador for the 'Visit Jangseong Year.' We will do our best to ensure that 2025 marks the beginning of the '10 million Jangseong tourism era.'
