These students directly explored the Japanese startup ecosystem and investigated the latest trends, identifying various makeup trends and the current status of the cosmetics market to discover global startup items. They designed startup items and marketing strategies by team, conducted market research targeting local consumers, and worked hard to develop practical business models. They also enhanced their global startup capabilities and presented the final results of the marketing strategies established through the Japanese market research at a team performance sharing session.
A student from the Visual Design Department at Dongmyung University said, “While learning conversational skills to conduct surveys for the global marketing project, I was able to better understand Japanese culture. By analyzing the survey statistics, I was able to think of more diverse startup items. I realized the importance of practical experience and gained confidence in establishing marketing strategies.”
