Pastor Sang-il Lee Elected as the 31st Chairman of Goryeo Academy Board
Pastor Lee Sang-il of Malsseum Church has been elected as the 31st chairman of the board of directors of the Korea Academy Foundation.
The Korea Academy Foundation, which oversees Kosin University, Kosin University Gospel Hospital, and Korea Theological Seminary, held a board meeting on the afternoon of the 10th in the foundation's conference room, where Pastor Lee Sang-il was elected after securing a majority in the second round of voting.
Pastor Lee will begin his two-year term starting April 17.
Newly appointed Chairman Lee Sang-il expressed, “Chairman Yoo Yeon-su has worked selflessly and impartially, and despite difficult circumstances, many good things have happened,” adding, “I am confident that God's work is not a burden but a blessing, and I believe in God's blessing.”

Chairman Lee Sang-il previously served as a director of the Daegu City Revival Movement Headquarters and as the chairman of the Daegu Western Presbytery, and is currently serving as the senior pastor of Malsseum Church. His inauguration ceremony will be held at Kosin University on April 23 at 10:30 a.m.
