View original imageSeosan City, Chungnam Province, announced on the 7th that Dongnam Hapseong Daesan Plant donated 24.5 million KRW to support the healthy growth of children from low-income families in the area.
Dongnam Hapseong Daesan Plant has been making annual donations since 2019, with the cumulative amount reaching 101.8 million KRW.
The city plans to deliver the donations individually to local children from low-income families through the National Center for the Rights of the Child.
Lee Hongseon, the plant manager, said, "Despite the ongoing economic downturn, our plant employees have raised funds for the healthy growth of children," and added, "I hope that a warm culture of sharing will take root, where children who receive support grow up healthy and eventually give back in return."
Mayor Lee Wanseop stated, "I would like to express my gratitude to all the employees of Dongnam Hapseong Daesan Plant for continuously sharing warmth with children in the area," and added, "Seosan City will also do its best to support the healthy growth of children who will lead the future of our community."
