Next Year's International Hospital Federation World Hospital Congress to Be Held in Korea
To Be Held at Le West, COEX Magok in October Next Year
The 49th International Hospital Federation (IHF) World Hospital Congress will be held in Korea next year.
The Korea Hospital Association (KHA) announced on the 5th that the World Hospital Congress will take place from October 19 to 22 next year at Le West, COEX Magok, Gangseo-gu, Seoul.
The International Hospital Federation is an international organization related to hospitals, established in 1929. It holds the World Hospital Congress annually to discuss hospital management innovation and healthcare trends. This will be the second time the World Hospital Congress is held in Korea since 2007.
After competition with Hong Kong and Singapore, Seoul was confirmed as the host city for next year’s event, which is expected to attract about 2,000 hospital and medical professionals from 90 countries.
In addition to academic events discussing the latest medical issues, opportunities will be provided to promote Korea’s digital healthcare technologies and domestic medical institutions and companies.
