Jeonnam Province to Provide 300,000 Won Support to Small Restaurant Business Owners

View original imageJeollanam-do announced on the 5th that it will provide public utility fee support of 300,000 KRW to approximately 20,000 small restaurant business owners.
This initiative is part of the Comprehensive Livelihood Economy Measures being promoted jointly by Jeollanam-do and its 22 cities and counties, aimed at supporting restaurant owners struggling with economic downturn and declining sales.
Eligible recipients are small restaurant business owners who have registered and are maintaining their businesses in Jeollanam-do as of December 16, 2024. They must have fewer than five regular employees and annual sales not exceeding 104 million KRW.
Applications can be submitted with the required documents at the administrative welfare center in the business location's jurisdiction until the 28th.
After review, Jeollanam-do will confirm the recipients and provide a one-time payment of 300,000 KRW starting from the 14th. Detailed information and required documents can be found on each city and county's website.
Kim Yeong-rok, Governor of Jeollanam-do, stated, "As business difficulties persist due to the economic downturn, we have decided to implement this public utility fee support program to stabilize the management of restaurant businesses, which have particularly high guarantee accident rates."
