64 Finalists Pass for Gwangju Kindergarten, Elementary, and Special Education Teacher Positions
89.06% Female Among Successful Candidates
Sequential Appointments Begin March 1
The Gwangju Metropolitan Office of Education announced on the 5th that 64 candidates have been confirmed as the final successful applicants in this year's public recruitment exam for kindergarten, elementary, and special education teachers.
The final successful applicants include 9 kindergarten teachers, 44 elementary school teachers, 2 kindergarten special education teachers, and 9 elementary special education teachers, totaling 64 individuals.
They were selected through the second round of exams, which included in-depth interviews and teaching demonstrations.
The gender ratio among the successful applicants is 10.94% male and 89.06% female. By age group, there are 57 in their 20s (89.06%), 5 in their 30s (7.81%), and 2 in their 40s (3.13%). Among them, 41 (64.06%) have already graduated, while 23 (35.94%) are expected to graduate in February.
Candidates can check their individual scores and results through the online teacher recruitment system.
The final successful applicants must submit the required documents, as announced on the Office of Education website, to the relevant department between the 10th and 12th.
The Office of Education plans to conduct training from the 12th to the 26th, after which the new teachers will be assigned to schools in stages starting March 1.
