The Welfare Crisis Alert app is a service that supports easy and quick reporting of oneself or neighbors in welfare crisis situations anytime and anywhere. Through the app, users can report individuals in need of emergency support services (such as living expenses, medical costs, housing support), health management, care, legal services, and other welfare assistance. Reports received are connected to the local administrative welfare center, where the individuals can receive counseling and welfare support.
The app is available for download on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. As of January 2025, 51,393 people nationwide have registered, with 3,974 users having installed the app in Suwon City.
