View original imageHonam University announced on the 5th that the 'KF Global e-School Korean Language Education Project Group' (headed by Professor Yoon Young of the Department of Global Korean Language Education) recently held a workshop on the topic of 'Microlearning Course Development'.
The workshop, held on the 3rd, was attended by Professor Yoon Young, advisory committee member Professor Lim Taeun from Nambu University, Instructor Kim Uryeon from Ewha Womans University, as well as the developers of the courses from Honam University Korean Language Education Center: Instructors Ko Sangmi, Kim Soyoung, Kim Sohee, Oh Bitnarae, Choi Miok, Hyun Jiyeong, and Research Assistant Kim Seunghwi.
This workshop was organized by the project group, which was the only one in the Honam region selected for the '2022 KF Global e-School Korean Language Education Project' hosted by the Korea Foundation (KF).
During the workshop, the participating researchers sequentially introduced the microlearning courses they were developing, such as 'Sino-Korean Words to Improve Vocabulary, Learning Korean Language and Culture through Traditional Fairy Tales', 'Learning Korean through Songs', 'Learning Korean through K-Drama OSTs', 'Learning Korean Language and Culture through K-FOOD', and 'Experiencing Daily Life in Korea'. Afterwards, the advisory committee members provided feedback and suggestions for improvement on the courses.
Project Director Yoon Young stated, "All the microlearning courses developed by the Honam University Korean Language Education Center instructors this time are interesting and engaging, so we look forward to the students' responses. We will continue to develop high-quality Korean language education VOD content so that overseas learners can enjoy studying Korean."
