Yangsan-si Drastically Simplifies Contract Documents Submitted by Companies from 13 Types to 1 Type
Simplification with the “Integrated Contract Performance Pledge”
Yangsan City in Gyeongnam Province will significantly simplify the 13 types of documents submitted by companies at the time of contract signing into a single “Integrated Contract Performance Pledge.”
Until now, companies entering into contracts with the city were required to submit all 13 types of documents, including the contract deposit payment guarantee, private contract pledge, and integrity pledge. The contract documents were complex and varied, and if some documents were missing, contract delays frequently occurred due to the need for supplementation.
Accordingly, Yangsan City plans to simplify the 13 types of contract documents into one by using the Integrated Contract Performance Pledge, minimizing inconvenience for local companies and reducing costs by cutting down on resource use for printing documents, thereby promoting efficient contract operations.
